I keep a pot of this on my kitchen counter and often use a few drops on one of our beautiful oil burners after cooking.
The refreshing and uplifting essence subtly fills the room.
Swirl the bar in your hands, or hair, with water to create a lather. Rinse and repeat for maximum bubble effect. Gently massage the scalp and skin; rinse thoroughly for clean, healthy hair and body.
Store out of direct water flow, in a cool, dry well ventilated place, preferably on a draining dish or in a soap saver bag, out of direct sunlight. (see Accessories)
Solo Bars come in a tin. Please reuse or recycle with your drink and food cans! We've chosen tins for our packaging as they are infinitely recyclable. They protect the bar on its journey to you, help preserve the moisture levels in the bar before the use and are perfect for when you travel!
We appreciate that, the first time you use a bar, is a bit scary, but Solo is easy to use. You can either create some lather in your hands and apply it to your hair, or you can rub the bar into the roots of your hair and work up the lather from there.
If using as a body bar, we suggest creating lather in your hands, placing the bar down, and then applying the lather over your body. If you take the bar and rub it up and down your limbs, it won’t last as long!
You can also use a ‘soap saver’ bag and apply the bar through the bag. See Accessories.
We recommend storing the bar on a soap ladder, or in a dish that drains, outside of the shower. That way the bar hardens between uses and, therefore, lasts longer. Most importantly, the bar should not sit in water, as it will soften and not last as long.
Solo is formulated as a head to toe product. I, and many customers, also use it on their face. As long as you don’t have specific skin conditions, this may work for you too.
Oh and, by the way, it also works as an emergency clothes wash if you’re away!
Solo is about freedom from multiple bottles, so experiment and let us know how you get on!
Solo is formulated for anyone aged 5 and over.
Absolutely! And it you apply to your hair, rinse and repeat, the lather really kicks in. You can create even more lather by using a Konjac sponge (see Accessories).
It depends on the length of your hair. On my shoulder length, thick hair, a bar can last 20+ washes.
When travelling, our experience is that one bar, if used as recommended, will last for at least 2 weeks for one person.
Absolutely not! There is no need for your hair to 'get used' to Solo Bars.
And it is not a problem to switch between other brands of shampoo and Solo.
